Gordon-Piatt built burners for gas, light oil and combination firing. Common models include the R, S and F series (including the RZ, SZ and SRZ), the G and GZ series, the FL, V and LN, the WR and WFL burners supplied on Weil-McLain boilers, and the EB series base burners on Bryan boilers.

Flame failures, lockouts, hard starts, pilot problems and short cycling. We find the cause instead of just resetting the control, and you get a written summary of what we found and what we fixed.

Older burners drift as linkages wear and settings get changed over the years. We set the fuel-air ratio across the firing range with a combustion analyzer and leave you a written report showing O2, CO and efficiency before and after.

When parts have been replaced, we bring the burner back online, check the safeties and set it up properly across its firing range.

Many Gordon-Piatt burners still have their original flame safeguard. When those fail and replacement parts are hard to find, we can upgrade to a current burner control and keep the rest of the burner in service.

Replacement parts for many Gordon-Piatt models are still available through aftermarket suppliers, so an older burner can often stay in service. If a burner is worn past the point where repair makes sense, we'll tell you plainly and explain the options.
